How to Dismantle Herpa 1/500

All,

I've been messing with decals for sometime now, always doing nice simple livery amendments, but I'm now in a position that I'd like to go to the next level. I know in Sergio's old post about the Titan 757, he showed the Starjets 757 dismantled, but I was wondering if this is also possible with Herpa models, and if so which bits can be removed, how easily and, well, how? I think the tail, horizontal stabilisers (rear wings), main wings and engines would be good to get off, if this is possible?
