These days I've worked hard and finished not less than 10 new customs. The first I want to show you is a British Airways Concorde 102, reg. G-N94AD, split BA/SQ colors, 1/500 scale. The real machine was operated jointly by BA and SQ in the late 1970s, hence the split liveries, actually she was G-BOAD, it was then leased by Braniff and got the special registration to incorporate an american reg within it; for a brief time was also N94AD. The reason for the new regs was because she, alongside others from BA (and AF) were leased by Braniff, which extended the service from NY and Washington to Dallas in 1979 and 1980. Then in 1990 she had the left side back in BA cs are got the original reg G-BOAD again. When the US regs. were carried the wing reg was removed. Now she rests on a barge, in the Intrepid museum, NY. Since I purchased the Singapore Heritage set 1 I had on my mind to make an NG version of the BA/SA Concorde to replace the OG one from the set. The decal set was fairly good, but have some innacuracies who made my work somewhat complex, anyway I love the results!
