Well iv just bought my first 3 1/400's since leaving the scale as a kid for 1/200.
Now space is really a problem so I decided to get back into 1/400 were space isnt an issue and yet detail is somewhat better and the range is a whole lot wider too!
My first step was to create a cargo apron for the arrivals.
Now that is nearly done my first aircraft is due in the form of a Phoenix DAS Air Cargo DC-10-30F, now I know this model is'nt the best but its the only DAS Air Cargo aircraft made in 1/400 so I bought it!
I do plan to buy an Aeroflot Cargo DC-10 and remove the titles and make a Hybrid liveried DAS Air Cargo but that wont happen for a long time yet.
I also plan on creating a Virtual Airline using DAS Air Cargo as iv been a huge fan since I saw 2 at EGKK and 2 at my local EGNX.
My next two, DHL B727-200F in the current Yellow and Red Livery and a B757-200F in the old White and Red livery.
These are the reason why I got back into 1/400 as my ambition is to own 1 of every model associated with DHL as I am second in command at DHL Virtual Cargo(my Dad being the owner).
I have 6 more on hold, Dragon Wings Beluga's 3 + 4, Fedex MD-10F and MD-11F in the first Panda Express livery, Gemini Biman DC-10-30 Last Flight and an Airbus Super Guppy Number 2.
