So, for the fist 10 months of the year 2014 this is the situation (please correct me if there is something of wrong, thanks):
15 models for North America
57 models for Europe (including Turkey and Russia)
17 models for Germany (excluded the Fanhansa A330-300)
6 models for the Middle East
3 models for Africa
11 models for Asia
6 models for South America
6 models for Oceania ( 4 Qantas)
38 Boeing
40 Airbus
7 ERJ
10 Russian and Soviet airplanes
20 re-releases
About Germany (Herpa is a German manufacturer), there are 17 models:
6 Lufthansa
5 Air Berlin
2 TUIfly
2 Germania
2 Condor
In my opinion, the real news so far are the production of some narrowbodies from Asia (Philippine Airlines A321WL, JetStar Japan A320, Sichuan Airlines A321WL...), a part of the World Herpa just focused with the many widebodies, and even a more beautiful news thanks to Hogan and its two Eva Air A321WL and JAL B737-800WL, and the miracle to have the license to produce jetBlue models (Herpa is starting with the ERJ-190), a good start for the future realization of all jetBlue fleet.
There are also 20 re-releases: i think that these are 20 new irplanes, liveries and airlines lost in the maze of Herpa's mind, i really don't understand the meaning and the need of all these re-releases. Some models are produced three times with different registrations.
Sadly, after the amazing Lauda Air B737-800WL, a second model will be deleted, the wonderful Vladivostok-Avia Tu-204-300, even a new mould. We all know why (the merge of Vladivostok-Avia with another airline and Herpa lost the license to produce the model) but i imagine that all the serious collectors are disappointed for this, also because of Herpa marketing that sometimes is a real shame!
About mistakes and quality check not bad, just think to the wrong LAN B787-8 with the wrong written under the cockpit...
Hoping that the news of the last two months of the year will be a great present for each of us, what do you think of Herpa job so far? What about your considerations?
